We make selling music easy
First create an account. This can be as an individual, band or record label.
Then upload your music and any artwork, giving the band or artists name and the name of the single or album.
Set a price you'd like to sell your music for - this can be anything from 50p upwards (50p is our minimum price).
We then create a link for you to add to your website, myspace, facebook, email etc. Once this link appears online your music is ready to sell!
Your fans click on the link and download your music using our secure payment service. You can then view your sales via your online account.

To set up an account and upload your music is absolutely free! There are no set up costs and no monthly fees. We then pay you all the money you earn from each transaction less our commission (20%) which goes towards our hosting and PayPal fees.
Lots of reasons:
You're in control - you choose when to "release" your music i.e. when fans can start to buy it. You choose what price you want to sell your music. You own all the rights to your music. You can choose who to target your music towards.
It's free to sign up. There are no set up costs and no monthly or annual fees unlike most services. We take a small percentage of sales to cover our bank and paypal fees.
With BigSong it's easy. Whereas, to get your music on iTunes, you need to be a record label or go through an "aggregator". This means a lot of paperwork and rules.
You make more money from each sale. With other digital sellers, you usually have to pay a set up fee and will typically receive around 60% of what the customer pays. Big Song has no set up fee and gives you 80% of what the customer pays.
